As captain of what is already one of the most remarkable giant-killing cup teams in football history, Gary Jones perhaps felt as though he had no more emotion to spend when he finally arrived home from Bradford City’s Capital One Cup heroics at Aston Villa in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
